Petrol Peugeot 406: what changes with a remap
With a petrol engine the remap works through the ECU's ignition, fuelling and turbo boost tables. Re-calibrating them within safe limits releases power that is already there, rather than adding anything to the engine.

Among the 7 petrol 406 engines we have figures for, the 2.0 16v 132 ranks 5th for power gain, 1 bhp below the 406 petrol average of 24 bhp.
Across our whole catalogue the average petrol remap adds 27 bhp and 51 Nm, so this engine's 23 bhp and 35 Nm sits below that benchmark.
