Petrol Hyundai Tiburon: what changes with a remap

With a petrol engine the remap works through the ECU's ignition, fuelling and turbo boost tables. Re-calibrating them within safe limits releases power that is already there, rather than adding anything to the engine.

Hyundai Tiburon Coupe 1.6 DOHC 16v 105 against other Tiburon engines

Of the 3 petrol Tiburon engines in our data, this one comes 3rd for power gain, which is 2 bhp below the Tiburon petrol average of 20 bhp.

Across our whole catalogue the average petrol remap adds 27 bhp and 51 Nm, so this engine's 18 bhp and 32 Nm sits below that benchmark.
